Many of our students are homeschooled, and we are very happy to be providing their musical education. We definitely welcome any homeschooled student to join us at the Murfreesboro Academy of Music!

We offer 30 minute and 60 minute private lessons for the following instruments: Piano, Voice, Guitar, Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Bass Guitar, Mandolin, Ukulele, Drums/Percussion, Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Music Theory and Composition.
Lessons are held once per week at our location: 211 Uptown Square, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. We also hold 2 formal recitals per year, along with other performance opportunities.

I offer traditional and Suzuki violin and viola lessons. I teach students of all ages and levels, and the lesson plans are personalized for each student based on learning style and ability.

Donna Upchurch – Private Music Teacher
I have been teaching private piano and voice lessons for 20 years in Smyrna, TN.
I have a Music Performance degree from Belmont University.
I homeschooled my children K-12 and have been active in the homeschool community, tutorials and co-ops.
Lessons are $24 for 25 min weekly.
